James Edwards - Lead Physical Therapist
Meet James Edwards, our lead Physical Therapist. A Cardiff University graduate, James has extensive experience in the UK's National Health Service and sports therapy for Reading Football Club and Hereford Rugby Club. Practicing in the USA since 2010, he now calls Nashville home. James is an Orthopedic Clinical Specialist, certified in Manual Therapy, Trigger Point Dry Needling, and Graston Technique. He is also the Team Physical Therapist for Nashville Men's Rugby Club and a faculty member at the Institute of Advanced Musculoskeletal Treatments.

Sam Mullaney - Physical Therapist
Meet Sam Mullaney, a Nashville native dedicated to his community. After earning his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Belmont University in 2021, Sam became certified as an Orthopedic Manual Therapist, enhancing his diagnostic and treatment skills. Committed to continuous improvement, he is pursuing additional certification as an orthopedic certified specialist. Sam finds immense joy and fulfillment in helping patients achieve significant health milestones.

Kate Glenn - Office Manager
Meet Kate Glenn, Native of the Franklin area. She received her Bachelor's degree in business management at Middle Tennessee State University. Kate brings a passion for business, with an incredible ability to organize and run a company. Her skill set and dedication allows for things to run smoothly and enable the rest of the team to feel focused on the main goal; to help people Get Better. Kate enjoys taking the weight off of others so they can focus on what is important. Her main goal is continuing to make the environment comfortable and make people feel at ease once they enter the doors.

What To Expect On Your First Visit
At Get Better Physical Therapy - Brentwood, TN, your initial physical therapy session revolves around crafting a tailored treatment roadmap that aligns with your health background, diagnosis, and aspirations. Here's a glimpse into what awaits you during your first visit to our clinic:
Step One
Your initial session is anticipated to take approximately one hour. We kindly request that you arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled appointment time.
Step Two
If relevant, please ensure you bring along your physician's referral or prescription, insurance card, necessary documentation, identification, and any required co-payment.
Step Three
The session includes initiation of treatment with a hands on approach, education on exercise and a roadmap of how to help you Get Better.
